Procedure (Step-by-Step)
Step 1: Create New Document

Open Adobe InDesign

Click Create New
-
Select Print
-
Choose A3 size
-
Orientation → Portrait

Columns → 5

Click Create
Step 2: Create Masthead (Newspaper Name)

Select Type Tool (T)
-
Draw a text box at the top of the page

Formatting:

Font: Times New Roman / Serif

Size: 60–72 pt

Style: Bold
-
Alignment: Center
-
👉 This is called Masthead
Step 3: Add Date and Price

Create a small text box below masthead

Type:

Font Size: 10–12 pt

Alignment: Center
Step 4: Create Main Headline

Draw a wide text box below masthead

Font Size: 30–36 pt

Step 5: Add Sub-Headline

Draw another text box below headline

Font Size: 14–16 pt

Italic or Regular
Step 6: Insert Main Image

Place it below the headline

Resize using Selection Tool (V) while holding Shift
Step 7: Create News Content Columns
